Teaching is a privilege and I feel humbled daily that I am able to do what I love for a living.

For me, teaching is an end in and of itself. I strongly believe that university professors have the unique position to enable the future generation of educators, medical professionals, politicians, and parents to move beyond complacency and thing critically about their lives and their place in them.  I am here today as a result of a handful of educators who took the time to provide me with the information and academic support possible to achieve my goals.

I treat all of my students with the same respect and potential.
