​To be sure, nearly everyone believes that patience is a virtue. And, in fact, it is one of the few principles of correctness that communities across ideological divides agree on.

 

But there is a distance between being polite and being right.

When our patience manifests as complacency with injustice, we are waiting for systems change at the expense of our families.

 

I am not waiting for justice at the expense of my children.

​And you don’t need to, either.

It's time to be unapologetically impatient.
